SIMBIZ 2015

Today’s world demands more than an employee; it demands entrepreneurs that can create more job opportunities. The number of qualified youngsters is increasing daily but the number of the available job doesn’t move accordingly. The youngsters need to be trained to be entrepreneurs who create jobs and not only employees who seek jobs. With this in mind, SIMBIZ is created to train and empower the young generations to be entrepreneurs for the future of the world. SIMBIZ is an annual business simulation competition held by BITE (BINUS INTERNATIONAL Trading Enterprise). This year is the 9th year of its existence. Under the theme “Entrepreneuring Your Way Forward”, BITE hopes to continue the success of the previous years. BITE is determined to continue our streak by developing more and more challenging activities for the participant, enhancing their business skills through a creative Questions and Answers Rally Games and the JA Titan Software. With support from Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI); an affiliation of one of the largest and fastest growing organizations that focused on business, entrepreneurial and economic education, Junior Achievement Worldwide, students can apply the theory learned in economic education and technology through this competition. The purpose of this event is to develop high school and university students’ interests in business and investment, widening the participants’ experiences and knowledge by learning new skills through the utilization of ’cutting edge’ software and directly getting into the business phase itself.
